I just heard the news that NBC and iTunes are currently not planning to offer new NBC shows after September because NBC wants to up the episode downloand price from $1.99 to $4.99. Here's the story from AP:

Are you frakkin' kidding???
While for sure iTunes will pull the plug on new NBC series, it might also effect the new episodes of the returning series, including my favorites: Battlestar Galactica (AP, take note: that's one "L" in Galatica), 30 Rock, and Project Runway.
Living outside the USA, I consider myself very lucky to have friends who travel to the States and back and buy me iTunes prepaid cards. I've got $100 in cards to play with for the next season!
But what's the point if my drug of choice isn't going to be available over the counter? Living in a country notorious for pirated DVDs, NBC is damn lucky to have me willing to pay for this stuff. Regardless of geographic constraits, it is also all too easy to go down "underground" to load up on BSG episodes (or almost any network show) for free.
Now, it seems NBC is practically daring me to go illegal. I really don't want to. RDM, SciFi, etc deserves my $2 imho.
Who's the loser now, NBC??????
